Victoria's Secret Goes Green!

Time flies. School is insane. Work work work no play play play. Plus seven hours of dance a week does not help my situation.
I'm going to try to blog more regularly, but everyone knows what happens when I say that. But I'm really going to try.

So everyone knows about this whole "Go Green!" campaign. With the reusable shopping bags, Kitson tee shirts, and newly recycled products - the campaign has made great progress. However, who would've thought that Victoria's Secret's Pink line would follow the trend? This is definitely a major step for all those going green, one of the most influential lines in the country is making a statement.

PINKThe new line at VS has tons of tee shirts and sweat shirts with this symbol - a recycled heart on it. I think it's adorable and I would wear it in a heartbeat.
Another thing, though not directly linked to the Go Green campaign, is the peace sign. It just flows with the mellowness that is invading our society. I think that this sweatsuit is tres cute. If Victoria's Secret is going to blingify a hoodie and some sweatpants, who wouldn't wear it?
This tee shirt kills two birds with one stone (hate that expression) by blingifying a peace sign made of hearts. A clever idea because it brings together the ideas of peace & love.
Victoria's Secret totes are famous in my school. Everyone uses them to carry around their books. Not only because it's a great fashion statement, but because they match with almost everything. These new ones, above, make some statements of their own. Two with the recycle love from the previous picture, another that says "think pink: go green" and one with a witticism, "save water; share a shower."

I definitely think that this is a huge leap not only for all those involved in going green, but for fashion in general. Let me know what you think!

Hmmm...a new obsession? Yes, I think so. I love this show - not only for the clothes and the amazinggggg accessories - but also for the reality of it all. Did I ever mention that they were filming GG just outside my sister's Brooklyn apartment? And I saw Nate aka Chace Crawford. Well now I have. It was pretty cool even though it was over the summer just before the show aired. I'm going to try to go to more filmings of the show as soon as the writer's strike is over.

I love Blair's style on the show it's amazingI love the red tights and how they match her blazer - I also like the Navy shorts and bow belt.
I love love love these red stirrup tights from American Apparel, they're so fabulous and so Blair - and for the small price of $14 I'd say they're worth it.
These shorts aren't exactly what Blair's wearing but they come pretty close. They're from Abercrombie & Fitch for $40 and you don't only have to wear them with the red tights you can wear them in all different ways.
I also loveee this outfit it's so fabulous she looks so effortlessly glamorous it's incredible
Even though this Velvet dress is completely different from Blair's it still gives the same affect and it's 90% less than Blair's dress, at $50 from Nordstrom.
I love these tights, I have similar ones but these are a lot nicer. They're $9 from Forever 21 and they go perfectly with the dress from Nordstrom.

So what do you think? I think I want to go shopping now. I especially love the second look - I wish I was Blair Waldorf!!!

Wow I haven't blogged in months! High school is tough, I'm not going to lie. My school was ranked #21 in the country, which I guess can be a good thing, but it just shows how much work school is for me! Anyway I'm going to try to update weekly - don't forget about me!

I've been dying for a leather bag, and I saw this one and fell in love. It's Michael Kors, and I loved the color. I picked it up at Nordstrom. Opinions?

Sneakers: Cute or Crazy?

Hola bloggers! My Columbia program finished, and now I'm smooth sailing for another two weeks. I've been obsessing over BP Nordstrom lately, and so I've been looking through all these new sneakers. I couldn't help but to realize how weirdly funky they are. I need an opinion. What does everyone think. Are these normal or weird? Haha. After seeing so many of them I started getting confused about this trend?

Adidas:
These are Adidas "Superstar Sleek" sneakers. I admit, they are pretty cleaned up - but what could you wear them with? Jeans and a white tee shirt?

Converse:
Not only are these platform, but they have this floral thing going on. I don't get it. Prints and patterns are for shirts, maybe even flats. But sneakers? Hmm...

Harajuku Lovers:
These are insane - the army print, the orange laces! Aren't they just too crazy! I'm sooo confused about this trend! Gwen Stefani is known to be a little outrageous, so maybe it's just her own thing? Who knows!!!

Rebel:

I actually like these. They're smooth, and can be worn with lots of things. The toe is blinged out, which can be dressed up or down. I totally put them in my cart!

I need opinions!! Tell me what you think - is this fad hot or not?

My Top Three Items this Fall

I'm superrr duperrr sorry about the whole never posting thing! I was doing my Martha Graham dance intensive, and now I'm doing a program at Columbia University for high school students that is really serious and we get tons of homework. My commute is more than an hour, and by the time I get home I'm pooooped. I'm SO SORRY. I'm trying to get better.

These are my top three items this Fall. Tell me what you think!

1) A Trench Coat
I've been DYING for the perfect trench - a mix of spy, glamour and London chic! A double breasted, long sleeved coat that reaches somewhere in the middle of my thighs - I need to get the perfect one! It's so hard to find, so I've settled for these few...

BCBG:
I like the belt and sleeves, very Fall-esque.

DKNY:
This comes in a champagne color with gold buttons and a brown color - they're both amazing and I wish I could pull this off, but I don't think so.

Victoria's Secret:
This is a very classic trenchcoat, and it's a great price. And being from Victoria's Secret, I'm sure it's great quality!

Tory Burch:
I love this coat, I think it's the best trench in the business. I could buy it for the $500 price tag, but I don't have the guts.

2) Clear Bags
I know that it's a summer thing, so I'm thinking those late August-early September days would be perfect for whipping one of these out! If you don't think you'll use it that much, I still think every girl should have one, so get this $30 one from Dooney & Bourke

Betseyville
I love this bag because it looks completely clear from a far, but on the actual bag it has details of all different designs like lips, small bags and jewelry!

Michael KorsI absolutely adore this bag. It's not really 100% clear, it has that translucent thing going on - which I LOVE!

3) Buckle Flats
Ever since I saw these FABULOUS BCBG flats in Bloomingdale's, I've been dying for flats with a buckle on them.

Wow. I'm so sorry about the lack of postage, I suck. I have just been so insanely busy with summer! Taking dance classes, barbeque's, parties with friends and all this crazy stuff!

Basically, I've been addicted to looking at shoes lately. I want like 234,324,549 new pairs. No joke.

From cheap to expensive, from big name designers to no designer at all - I LOVE SHOES!

I've kinda only been looking at two separate styles lately - flats and boots. Maybe later I'll post about other types of shoes.

Juicy Couture 'Edith' FlatI've seen SO MANY copies of these shoes, but they're just so gorgeous - who wouldn't want to copy them?

Fantasy FASHION League?

So, I'm sure you've ALL heard of Fantasy Football League - where crazy football fans choose players to be on their teams and get points by seeing how well their each player does in REAL football season, and then calculating the team's score as a whole.

Some BRILLIANT minds have decided to come up with an alternative for more girlish personalities - a Fantasy Fashion League.

FANTASY FASHION LEAGUE:
Players choose designers to be on their team, and earn a certain amount of points for each time the designer is mentioned, etc. The more exposure your designers get, the more points are earned.
You can earn daily points by checking out Instyle.com or WWD.com (Women's Wear Daily) and if your designer is in the headline, first paragraph or name is bolded throughout any of today's top stories, fashion, retail, accessories, sportswear, beauty, or financial articles, then you earn points.
You can also get points if a celebrity is wearing your designer on the cover of a magazine or in a photo caption.
You can also choose celebrities for your team - and you can drop or gain them throughout the season.
Lastly, you can join the public or private fantasy fashion league. By choosing private, you have to sign up with a group of 4 to 12 players and compete amongst each other. By choosing public, you are competing against the rest of the United States.

BEAUTY EDITION:

A spinoff of FFL (fantasy fashion league), Fantasy Fashion League Beauty Edition is when you choose celebrities and designers and a certain look. For example, you can choose Lindsay Lohan and Ponytail and earn points based on how many times Lindsay is featured wearing a ponytail.
They also have a similar game for shoes and celebrities.

TABLOID FANTASY LEAGUE:
It's basically the same, it's just that you choose celebrities and get points every time he/she is featured on the cover of a tabloid.

Doesn't it seem like so much fun? I want to join! I'd choose...

I've been tagged three times now, but I've been seeing this little tagging thing everywhere, so why not?

1) I am doing a Martha Graham Summer Intensive program for two weeks and it starts tomorrow! For all of you weirdos out there, Martha Graham started modern dance and the studio is in the city. It's huge, and it's by Dylan's Candy Bar - my home. I'm really nervous because I know they are going to be a lot of amazing dancers there. But I'm excited to put together fun, new dance outfits haha.

2) My favorite chocolate bar is Hershey's Cookies and Cream - it's delicious

4) I live in leggings and I can tell when there are good leggings and bad leggings - because they do exist

Cocktail Rings!

I finally graduated the 8th grade. I am now in high school!!! Thursday was my graduation and dance - it was really fun!!! I'm so excitedd yet nervous!! So, I'm posting about cocktail rings haha...

I recently learned that Juicy Couture is now making cocktail rings - and they are pretty nice - I must admit...

I love cocktail rings because you can dress them up or down - jeans and a hot button down - OR that little black dress in the back of your closet.

Kenneth Jay Lane - makes great cocktail rings! You just need a really trendy outfit and somewhere hot to go to.
This is my favorite Kenneth Jay Lane ring - it's simple yet sophisticated and you can wear it all the time.

Arielle Collection Cushion Cocktail Ring

I like the Arielle because it has no frame around the stone - so it just blings freely...

Lori Bonn Rectangle Cushion Cocktail Ring
I love this one because of it's color variety in the stone - it looks like the earth. I also like the silver rope perimeter around it.

Juicy Couture Cocktail Ring
I personally like this one the best. It has a great cut and the bow adds a fun, different look to it. It also comes in two colors - a diamond like color and a faux canary diamond color. The Juicy ring is the most expensive, but I think the most elegant.

I stole this from a recent issue of Marie Claire that I found, and I can't get over it.I completely wish I was fabulous enough to own a bag with such a prestigious way of carrying itself (no pun intended) and shoes that might as well be jewelry for your feet. Who knew the world could reach this level of chicness? Where did such a beautiful metallic silver color come from? Let's just say that with a fabulous creme trench coat and some nicely done hair - these accessories do ALL the talking...

Glamorous Crocs? Could It Be?

Ever since Spring break ended, I've been out ALL WEEKEND. No seriously, I have. Friday I have school until 3:30 then play practice from 3:30-5:30 then dance from 5:30-6:30 and then I have to pick up the tables and chairs for my birthday party and be back at school by 8:00 for this outdoor adventures thing. Saturday, I have my birthday party, a soccer game and dance. Then, we are all going out to dinner. Sunday I have another soccer game, play practice and I have to go to Sunday School. Oh, and by the way, I have a test EVERYDAY next week. So, poop to that.So, I've basically been swamped.

Anyway...I'm openly against Crocs - those hideous shoes that are gross and disgusting. But I guess it's because I'm a New Yorker...whenever I go on vacation I see thousands of people sporting this infamous brand. Well, I found a pair of Crocs I'm not afraid to look at. They are so glamorous, I can't even begin to explain. They were made by a family during their weekly "crafts hour", when a mother and her two daughters decided to glam up their Crocs with gemstones and fun shapes. After all the daughters' friends wanted the shoes, the father of the family decided that they should set up a website where people would buy these Crocs, otherwise known as Jibbitz. For about 3 months, the family ran this website - handing making the shoes themselves. Until one day (this is pretty insane) the little girl of the family was chilling at the pool. There, someone asked her where she got her shoes, and of course, she told him that her mom makes them. He gave her his card - and Lo and Behold, it's the Crocs Owner! Yea, pretty crazy...so...now this family owns a section of Crocs called Jibbitz - and they are pretty fabulous shoes I must admit.NFL Crocs:
They come in countless designs - NFL, Disney Characters, gemstones, flowers, Mickey Mouse - just about everything. But they aren't cheap - they cost separately for each addition you make to the shoe. Any which way, it's worth it!
You can even write stuff on them.They even have Mary Jane Crocs!

Being that SO MANY of my friends bow down to these Beauty Myths, I thought it would be fun to see if these rules are true, or just a whole bunch of bogus! Chocolate – a yummy, melt-in-your-mouth food, how could something so innocent possibly cause zits? The facts are, according to leading dermatologists in the real Orange County, chocolate has no part in acne – at all. The key to perfect skin is simple – eat healthy, your skin stays healthy. Skin is similar to any other organ – like your lungs or your heart. If you smoke, you clot up your lungs – just like if you eat healthy, your skin stays fresh and healthy-looking! Wearing skirts can be lots of fun, but if you want to have smooth, non-prickly skin – you must go through that aching torture of waxing them. Can you SCREAM myth any louder? Though shaving causes those little round circles on your legs, it does not make your hair any thicker or faster growing. The real deal about hair growth is your body shape – for some people, hair replaces fat, giving them insulation.Mayonnaise – it goes on hamburgers, bake potatoes and YOUR HAIR?! This is completely and utterly fictional. Mayonnaise, as much as you would like to believe, does absolutely nothing to benefit the health of your luscious locks. If you’re looking to improve the condition of your hair, go buy a Frederick Fekkai product!!! Gum – extra sugar, low fat, and whitening – it's all the same. Woof...this really put me into perspective...basically, you can eat chocolate, but not so much. THAT IS A RELIEF...I'm a chocoaddict!!!! Also, I did this while at home...I've been sick for the past two days with a 103 fever and it sucks! I got a lot better today, so hopefully I'll be back at school tomorrow!

MY BiRTHDAY iS iN EXACTLY 2 WEEKS! I will become a proud 14 year old on April 24th, 2007(!!!) & I can't wait! I'm having a party at this big go-kart, batting cages, mini golf place on May 6th because it's freezing here right now (it was 35degrees today). So I thought some of you guys may like some of the stuff on my list, so here it is:

Betsey Johnson Betseyville Large Bucket BagnI think it's so adorable and I can use it for lots of events and fun trips to the park or something.

Betsey Johnson Large ToteI love this one because it has the shape of the signature Longchamp bag, but it has fun rope handles (which are more in than I can even say) and it also has a large "Betseyville" heart in the middle.

To COMPLETE the Betsey Johnson ObsessionI also ADOREEE this Betsey Johnson Sterling Silver Heart/Arrow necklace, because I saw a Juicy one that I liked, but it was big and plastic and chunky in person - and this one is good because it's subtle & cute at the same time. Plus, it's sterling silver!

Burberry FlatsI also like these Burberry flats because they perfectly match my bag, and I am IN LOVE with this new sparkley Burberry collection.

Juicy Sweatsuit This is like THE PERFECT JUiCY SWEATSUiT! It comes in black, and it "Juicy" written on the back and the side of the pant, not the butt (like other Juicy sweatpants) and it's written in a fancy, big script.

One Tree Hill SeasonsWhat can I say? I love the show!

Welcome Back, Welcome Back, Wel-come Back!!!

I am back from my fun-in-the-sun fabulousness vacation. Cancun really has it all – I’d say it’s a cross of Hawaii, Dubai and New York. Take the party out of New York, the shopping from Dubai and the great weather, ocean and beach from Hawaii – and there you go, Cancun. I can definitely say that because I’ve been to all those places, and that’s the conclusion I made.

But before Cancun, I must say, the Justin concert was BEYOND AMAZING. It just made me love him more. Of course, he came up from the floor, and he had a really good stage setting. There were four screens around him, one for each title of his album – future.sex.love.sounds. For the slow songs, he’d play the piano in the middle of the stage, with the screens surrounding him. Sometimes the screens would close up in on his face, too. For the quicker ones he’d just dance with his signature, amazing style, no screens. The stage also had two lower sections on either side with the band and some dancing room, and stairs to get down there, but of course, JT would jump. He is just such a good performer! OH, and it was his last North American concert, so before the second song (Senorita), he gave a toast and drank some Tequila, I believe. He was so cute, he even sang one NSYNC song, Gone, and he said it was special to him. OMG - Timbaland was there. It was so random, too. He just randomly came on stage and the whole intermission was like Timbaland promoting his album, which I will be buying on iTunes. Overall, Justin is an amazing performer and I LOVEEEEEEEEEE him. LOVE.

Oh, and some Justin gossip, there are rumors going around that he has a crush on his blonde dancer – in all the songs he was always like dancing with her and stuff. SO shady! Pink opened up for him. She was pretty good too. She had a long, pink (haha) scarf like cloth hanging from the ceiling in which she did these insane gymnast tricks on. Cancun was really amazing – the water was the most amazing shade of bluish turquoise – the only water I’ve seen that shade! The pool at my hotel; Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach, was fresh water and humungous, so it was simply great. But we decided to mix it up on this trip, instead of being solely cultural or solely relaxing, it was a busy combination of both. We’d sit on the beach, and yes, like a baby I built a sand castle lol. We also went to Chichen Itza and visited the Mayan ruins that have been around for a billion years now. They were really pretty and big, but it was hot on the day we went so I was in and out when the tour guide was talking. We also went to this naturally made underground body of water; it was really, really nice! There were even fish in the water. We also went snorkeling, which was fun, too. Overall, I liked the trip. We went out, the malls were great – I even had an authentic Mexican churro – yum, man, yum!

I'm so tired. I think I'm going to take a nap. Writing this post took me all day, and I STILL have to write a poem for english. UGHH

Farewell to All

Well at least until Wednesday...tonight I will be seeing this hottie with a body in concert! Ahhh I absolutely loveeeee him! Tomorrow at 4am I'll be boarding a plane to go to Cancun with my 2 sisters. I've been updating my iPod like mad for the flight and I already have a fabulous plane outfit - I'm wearing these linen pants (good for both NY and Cancun) that have pockets like cargo pants (make it less formal) with a short sleeve white button down (but its a fun one) and my pink Polo sear sucker blazer. My shoes are like a cross between Keds and Vans, and they're Khaki and Pink. I know, you're all extremely proud. I was inspired from a Bloomingdale's Catalog. Erm, hola to all. Turns out I got a bigger role than expected in the play, and the director WILL BE taking up ALL of my free time to rehearse. Woot to that. Today’s post is kinda all over the place, so try to stay with me!

I had a phase in my younger days where I’d spent countless hours at Barnes and Noble, but since studying got hard and I had to read lots more for school, I barely had any time for fun reads. Recently, however, I’ve discovered some new books I really want to read or have read. Here are just a few books I think you should LOVE!

The Kite Runner by: Khalid Hosseini I am obsessed with this book. I read it this year for history, and I fell in love. It’s an amazing description about Afghanistan pre, post and during the rein of the Taliban. I think it’s a great book for anyone who isn’t ignorant, and it really teaches you a lesson. It puts things in perspective and teaches you how to appreciate your life, no matter how bad you may think it is. But beware, this book does HAUNT you and it stays with you FOREVER – trust me.

Night by: Elie Weisel I think that I love historically aware books. The author of this novel, Elie Weisel is an actual Holocaust survivor. I actually read this last year for history, and it is in the Oprah book club. It’s a book that shows you what people go through and it’s almost as good as the Kite Runner, but that book is definitely my all time fav.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Series by: Anne Brashares These books are about 4 completely different best friends that have jeans which magically fit all of them. Every time one of the girl’s wear the pants, something magical happens. The series is really girlie and fun, but addictive!

Gossip Girl Series by: Cecily von ZiegesarThese books are just so fun and fabulous! The girls are kind of like a lighter version of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha.

Rolling Stones Tee ShirtsYou've seen them on every celebrity, and when you put the words Anglo and vintage in one sentence, I can't get off of it!

The BeatlesOh la la, this is from Target!!! I was just browsing through a few websites to see if they had any cotton candy machines (don't ask why) and I stumbled across this amazing tee shirt section! Rocker chic is completely in this season, so don't resist. Plus, for this price ($6.99) it's more than just a steal!
They also had this "Abbey Road" tee, a classic Beatles statement.

Vintage BarbieThis is my last Target loving post, it's a Barbie Vintage tee shirt. I think I need this one. It's just SO FABULOUS!

Kitson: Love Is The DrugNot only was this shirt seen on people like the Olsen twins, but, it has been featured in several magazines!

I hope everyone enjoyed the tee shirt post! School's been going insane, being that I'm starting high school next year! OMG! And I'm also in my school play, OLiVER! We just tried out yesterday, but I'm not such a great singer, so I want a dancing role. So I've recently discovered that though I do not have a credit card nor will I have one anytime soon, I love online window shopping! It's so fun and it paints the perfect picture for when you actually do go out to the wonderful world of malls and big, fancy department stores. So, instead of going to big, fancy department stores I decided to find some fun, low key designers which are so much cooler!

After a longarse day of shopping today, I've realized that jeans are more complex than just the thought of "are these dark or light?"...so, being the psycho obsessed blogger than I am, I've decided to spend hours researching and trying to prevent others from having the same issues I had today. Though, I must admit, I did buy the most delightful pair of Lucky Brand Jeans.

TYPES (The Pictures are Below the Descriptions)

Cropped Jeans: cut just above the ankle
Wear with: flats or sandals; NOT SNEAKERS!!!
DON'T WEAR THEM IF: you have thick lower legs/ankles, if you're petiteCapri: somewhere between knees and mid calve
Wear with: delicate top, flowy blouse, sandals, SOME sneakers, flats, even boots (maybe)

The color and the Victoria's Secret Line. It's taking over the universe. No really, it is. Victoria's Secret has become a global obsession. Forget undergarments (haha) - the clothes, swimwear lounge wear, accessories and make up choices is the reason why so many women today are sporting the Gisele inspired looks.

The PINK Line
The PINK Line is a collection of Victoria's Secret lounge wear; sweatpants, sweatshirts, fun tees, tanks, robes and swim cover ups. Imagine a land, where everyone is happy and free to choice. There is no such thing as 'calories' and weight is a mere number. There are food-related sicknesses and people could eat whatever they want. Well, if that was the case, I'd be living on cupcakes. I love cupcakes. One time, I even went to a New York City hot spot owned by Dylan Lauren, Ralph Lauren's daughter, and all I bought was a book on the different types of cupcakes. I've made cupcakes from scratch, and even frosting from scratch. Cupcakes are a huge part of life (embarrassingly enough) and they deserve to be blogged about.

Now, I know that the (RED) line has been out for a few months now, but I just can't get enough! AiDS in Africa is a beyond huge issue for current times, and there is only so much we can do. Heart Shaped
Like ME & Reese WitherspoonTry to get sideswept bangs because they attract attention to your eyebrows and cheekbones and it will decrease the attention being given to your chin, the main point of your face shape. If you have short hair you want to keep your layers very soft and not so wild. If you have longer hair, make your layers more defined and wavy, which will also attract attention to the cheekbones.

Square Shaped
Like Demi Moore & Rosario DawsonFor this face shape, your main goal is to hide that jawline! Layers starting at your chin or curls will do the job! DON'T have a one length bob, they just scream "I have a square shaped face look at my jawline!" NO, NO, NO!

Chocolate L<3VERS galore!

New York, New York, New York...now I live here and all, but seriously, Nueva York isn't all it's cracked up to be...we have hot spots, celebrities and amazing shopping - but it gets slightly repetitive at times. Recently, we added some more excitement to this pool of fun and fashion - the New York Chocolate Show - a fashion show where fashion designers, chocolate brands and pastry chefs team up to create one-of-kind looks inspired by chocolate! Some even used it as an opportunity for advertising!
The first look was created by our very own Brasserie 8 1/2 pastry chef Martin Howard! This dress was a way for Baskin Robbins to debut their up incoming ice cream flavor; Swiss Chocolate Treasure - a unique mix of chocolate and lavender. The dress was modeled by former America's Next Top Model contestant, Keenyah Hill. The dress was adorned with ice cream cones, even a hat to match and the perfect addition of a spoon necklace - sporting Brasserie's signature spoons!
This dress was inspired by Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The chocolate swirls on the blazer represent the droplets of the chocolate fountain, while the gold lining under the skirt symbolize the golden tickets. The top hat and cane are signature chocolatier wear, any choco expert would know!

As for me, tomorrow's a day out on the town...my cousin's from Austin are visiting!

What's in Your Make Up Bag?

Today's filled with work...I had to do a slideshow on the book Animal Farm - I had to create a candidate to run against this crazy communist pig (literally a pig) named Napoleon...then I did math...now blog, yay!

What's better than the two words girls love most? Bag and make up! OK, its three words, but you get the idea! Do you have all the essentials you need in your make up bag? I highly doubt it. So let's get started, shall we?

Lips

There's no lipgloss without chapstick - I recommend Rosebud Salve or DCTLipgloss, Lipgloss, Lipgloss...there are about a million different colors, brands and types out there - but the perfect lipgloss has 3 main qualities - long lasting abilities, good color and a compact size. I would personally recommend MAC lipglass or Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush...beware - the MAC has a sticky factor. Lipliner is pretty out these days, as is lipstick...you should only wear that stuff if you're above 35...

Face
As a teen, foundation really isn't needed - the only thing that you would really need is concealer, bronzer and blush. Now, if you need all of these things, wouldn't you want them to come in one, compact device?
The best bronzer/blush duo out there is LORAC cheek duo which comes with a brush and a small, easy to use case. The price is a steal - $28.50, and you can find it at your local Sephora.
Another bronzer/blush duo that's really great is Benefit 10, it has a good combination of pink shimmer and bronze sparkle for only the the golden of goddesses. Concealer can be found everywhere and anywhere, but to make sure you're being taken care of, you want something dependable and personal. The Clinique concealers are fit to match your skin tone and the women at the counter show you how to use it as well. This is also a cheap buy at $15, and it comes in a small tube that you can fit anywhere.

Eyes

The best eye shadows can never be exactly determined. I'd chose a palette that has many colors that I could use to match the majority of my outfits, with a variety appropriate for different events - from nights out, to days in!

There are different types of ways to do your eyeshadow, one of the most famous being 'smokey eyes' - something that even the best of make up artists can't complete! Eyeliner is a popular pick for teenage girls - and most wear it with their daily make up. Eyeliner is something made to make smaller eyes seem larger and get noticed more. For that typical black eyeliner look, you'd want to do one, slick and sleek line across the top of your eye - with a sharpened pencil from Sephora. When you want to go crazy with your liner and do a glittery or metallic look for a night out, try something like Benefit Mr Frosty - a pearly, swift pencil that glides across your lash line. It was even featured in Allure magazine!

An eyelash curler is always necessary for those fun nights out, and you want one with a good grip and a great job guaranteed! The best kit out there, a $181 value is from Bare Escentuals.
